Pari Temple
Some
temples dating from the 14-15 the centuries include Pari temple in Candi Pari
village, Porong subdistrict about 8 km to the south of Sidoarjo city. This
stupa shaped temple was build during the reign of King Hayam Wuruk. Negoro
temple in Candi Negoro village, Krian subdistrict about 16 km to the west of
the small town. It is thought to be constructed around the year 1535. Apart
from that, there is a Kemlagian inscription in Tropodo village, Krian
subdistrict about 19 km to the west.
