Sine Beach

Located in Kalibatur village, Kalidawir subdistrict about 35 km to the south of city offers a vast sand beach that can be enjoyed by tourists while sunbathing.

Popoh Beach

Is a potential recreation beach and has become Tulungagung’s main beach. Situated 28 km to the south of the city, the area has Reco Sewu (lit, thousands statues) and marine attraction. Every month of Suro / Muharram (the first month of Javanese calendar) the societies hold Labuh Semboyo sea offerings ceremony. Facilities available are souvenir kiosk, a children’s play ground, lodges, a fish market,and audience hall, and fishing sites.

Lawean Waterfall

Situated in Turi subvillage, Geger village, Sendang subdistrict about 25 km to the west of the city, lies at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level. The average temperature here is 18-22°C. to get to the fall, you still have to take a trekking route with cool and panoramic hills views. This 100 metres high waterfall has terraces and some cascades. The myth of Mbok Roro Endang Sampu and Mbok Roro Dewi Gangga is believed that they are the rules of the fall. Closed of the waterfall, there is Pandanwangi waterfall with a vast tea plantation about 1.000 m above sae level.

Purwodadi Botanical Garden

In Purwodadi subdistrict offers facilities for camping, rest areas and cafés. The garden also features various collections of plants ideal for recreation and observation. It is 70 km from Surabaya on the Surabaya-Malang road.

Indonesia Safari Park

Located at the foot of Mt. Arjuno, Indonesia Safari Park lies in Prigen subdistrict surrounded by a beautiful natural mountain at an altitude of about 800 metres. The park occupies an area of 400 acres with a collection of 1,000 animals of 150 species of the world. Taman Safari is an EX-SITU institution and Rare Animal Breeding Centre.

Candi Jawi

Situated in the village of Wates, Prigen subdistrict, Jawi temple was built in the 13th century with a size 24.5 m high 14.2 m long and 9.5 m wide. Another ancient site to visit is Belahan temple in Gempol subdistrict. Historical tombs of Muslim scholars are scattered across pasuruan including the tomb of Ratu Ayu in Bangil subdistrict, the tomb of Mbah Semendhi (Habib Sholeh) in Winongan subdistrict. On a particular day, they are all visited by many pilgrims of Muslim communities. Cheng Hoo at Pandaan is a mosque with Chinese architectural style, similar to a Confucian temple.

Mount Bromo

Bromo area in East Java’s tourism products constellation plays a vey strategic role. It has become the potential trade mark of tourism products in every campaign of tourism events. The uniqueness of its people and its original nature provide tremendous charms. Mt. Bromo, located in the middle of the sand sea of the area of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park occupies an area of 50,276.2 hectares. The best view point to enjoy the panoramic scenery of Mount Bromo is from Penanjakan in Pasuruan. From this place you can enjoy the national park area, the sand sea, Mount Bromo and the surrounding mountains. You can also see Mt. Semeru (3,676 meters the highest mount in Java) standing as the background. The terrific view of sun rise can be seen when the weather is clear.
