Alas Purwo National Park
Which is located along Blambangan peninsula is a natural protected area having remarkable biodiversity and ecosystem which are very usefulfor research, science, education and tourism. The national park has an area of 43,420 hectares with a lowland tropical rain forest; 40% in the from of a bamboo forest. Various species of animals comprising mammals, aves, pisces, and reptiles. Animals living here are among others buffalo, deer, antelope, wild boar, peacock etc. At Sadengan there is an area of 84 hectares of grazing savannah, provided with a viewing tower to see grazing animals such as buffalo, deer, wild boar etc.
