Irdjen Kaliklatak Plantation
Is located 15 km from Banyuwangi city center at an altitude of 450-850 metres above sea level. Kaliklatak Plantation is one of the first and the oldest agro tourism in Indonesia which is now 38 yaers of age. Kaliklatak has an area of 1,013 hectares with special highland planrs such as coffee, rubber, cocoa, and spices. Supported with 20 rooms of bungalows, the plantation is frequently visited by many tourist especially from the Netherlands. By wearing distinctive “capil” (typical cap), foreign tourists take an open truck travelling around the plantation to see the people tapping rubber, picking coffee, clove and chocolate. They can see latex processing and the processing of coffee up to the sorting process.
