Ijen Crater

The crater is located in Sempul subdistrict about 75 km to the east of Bondowoso at an altitude of 2.386 km above sea level, located on the border of Bondowoso Banyuwangi area. Water volume of the crater is about 36 million metres cubic having bluish-green (turquoise) colour. This nature phenomenon showcases stunning panoramic views with average temperature 2° - 8°C. ijen Creater is major natural attraction very much enjoyed by many domestic and foreign tourists.
